Two things I really like about this trip are the comfort of being met and guided from the start, and the fact that cave time is mostly yours. On both Ajanta and Ellora, the driver helps you to the entrance area and then waits at the parking while you explore at your own pace.
One consideration: cave admission tickets are not included, so you’ll want to budget for them in addition to the tour price. Also, you should be ready for a long travel day on Day 1 since the schedule lists a full day moving from Mumbai to Aurangabad.
